Minneapolis, Minnesota Office Vassilena Ouzounova is an associate attorney at Igbanugo Partners Int’l Law Firm, PLLC. She is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota. At Igbanugo Partners, she prepares applications and petitions for employment, family and humanitarian-based immigration, naturalization, and nonimmigrant visas. She also assists with motions and appeals before federal courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Executive Office of Immigration Review. Previously, Ms. Ouzounova was a staff attorney at Access Justice, PSC where she provided legal services to disadvantaged persons and organizations of limited means. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree at William Mitchell College of Law, where she received practical training through the Immigration Law Clinic. Ms. Ouzounova graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Japanese. She received a Young Scholars Grant allowing her to write and present a paper on Japanese Foreign Policy. She also served as a teaching assistant to over 60 students in a World Geography class, frequently grading papers and tests and presenting lectures. Born in Bulgaria, Ms. Ouzounova grew up in the United States and studied abroad in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Japan.
