Minneapolis, Minnesota Office Tim Hart is an attorney at Igbanugo Partners Int’l Law Firm, PLLC focusing on U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hart served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kristin W. Olmanson and the Honorable Joseph R. Dierkes at the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court) in Bloomington, Minnesota. At Igbanugo Partners, Mr. Hart prepares applications and petitions for employment-based immigration (including EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories), family-based immigration, naturalization, and nonimmigrant visas such as H-1B specialty occupations. His immigration practice also includes representation of clients in removal proceedings, including asylum, temporary protected status, and abused spouse petitions. Mr. Hart was awarded a presidential scholarship for his academic credentials at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. While at St. Thomas, he participated in the Legal Services Clinic as a member of the Immigration Law Practice Group. In addition, Mr. Hart is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Maryland, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics, and certificates in Latin American Studies and Spanish. Mr. Hart is fluent in Spanish and has translated publications for the Resource Center of the Americas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also interned at the Centro de Derechos Laborales (Workers’ Rights Center) where he assisted Spanish-speaking clients in resolving employment issues. Mr. Hart currently serves as liaison to the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services for the Minnesota-Dakotas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mr. Hart volunteers regularly with Linea Legal Latina and is a regular contributor to Mshale, a Twin Cities African newspaper. He is a member of AILA and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
