Minneapolis, Minnesota Office David B. Echeverry is admitted to practice as an attorney in the State of Minnesota. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree in May 2009 and an LL.M. degree at Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He also graduated with an LL.B. degree from Universidad Libre, Seccional Pereira, and is a licensed attorney in his home country of Colombia. At Igbanugo Partners Int'l Law Firm, PLLC, Mr. Echeverry's responsibilities include preparing immigration petitions and applications; assisting with motions and appeals before the federal courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Executive Office for Immigration Review; and interviewing witnesses, preparing affidavits and gathering documentary evidence for clients. Mr. Echeverry was previously a judicial intern at the Minnesota Tax Court under the supervision of the Chief Judge George W. Perez; a Community and Research Fellow at the Chicano Latino Affairs Council (a state-created agency with the mission of advising the governor and the Minnesota Legislature on issues affecting the Latino community in the state); and a law clerk at a recognized employment law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
